PASTORAL INTERNSHIP SUPERVISORS WORKSHOP FOR 2016
20th year of internship
One unique feature of our formation programme is the six months internship programme. This is the programme that takes place in the different home Dioceses of our Students in the country. The seminary department has taken on its shoulders, once again this year, to prepare the priests who will host the students in 2016 internship programme. The current second year theology class is the twentieth group to go out for internship from our seminary. On Monday the 7th of September the seminary hosted these priests supervisors for a two days workshop which ended Tuesday 8th of September.
The rector, accompanied by the vice rector, gave an opening address to this workshop. Fr. Sibusiso Sithathu and Fr. Clement Senekane gave this workshop to the supervisors. The workshop was a great success, it gave the priests supervisors an opportunity to engage and know better the students they will host next year. On that note we wish to thank the priests supervisors for availing themselves for this delicate task. We wish them and our students a fruitful and meaningful experience for next year.
